FAQ

Questions, answered.

Buying

How does the deposit work?
A $500 deposit holds your ring and counts toward the price. It's fully refundable until crafting begins. Richard then calls or emails you within one business day to confirm sizing and details. The balance is due only after you've confirmed everything.

Can I talk to someone before I reserve?
Yes. Book 30 minutes with Richard. No obligation.

Can I design my own ring?
Yes. Choose Brazilian emerald, Zambian emerald or tanzanite; 18k yellow, white or rose gold; and a solitaire, split shank, bezel or three-stone setting. Start designing.

The stones

What does GIA certified mean?
The Gemological Institute of America is the industry's independent standard for identifying and grading gemstones. Your GIA certificate ships with your ring and documents the stone's identity, cut and characteristics.

What does the appraisal add?
Beyond the GIA certificate, your ring is independently appraised by Anna, FCGmA, a Fellow of the Canadian Gemmological Association and a CAJA Accredited Appraiser. The appraisal documents your ring's value for insurance.

Are the stones treated?
Yes. Treatment is standard practice for emerald and tanzanite, and we tell you plainly rather than leave it in the fine print. Richard walks you through exactly what your stone has had done.

Sizing, crafting, delivery

How do I get my size right?
Richard confirms sizing with you personally before crafting begins.

How long does crafting take?
Typically 4 to 6 weeks, confirmed on your call before any balance is paid.

Where do you ship?
Across Canada and the US, fully insured, signature required.

After you buy

Do you resize?
Yes, free, for as long as you own your RJR ring.

Can I return it?
Each ring is crafted to order for one owner, so all ring sales are final once crafting begins. Your deposit is fully refundable until then. If your ring arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, contact us within 48 hours with photos and we'll make it right. Full refund policy.

Do you have a referral program?
Yes. When a friend you refer buys their ring, you get $500 off your next piece. How it works.
